Thymosin Alpha-1 10mg is a research-grade immune-modulating peptide studied for T-cell maturation, innate immune activation and inflammation resolution. This 3 ml vial containing 10 mg presentation is intended for laboratory investigation of thymic peptide regulation of adaptive immunity. Thymosin alpha-1 is a 28-amino-acid peptide originally isolated from thymus tissue. It is studied as an immune modulator that promotes T-cell maturation and dendritic-cell function, enhances natural-killer-cell activity and shifts cytokine responses toward a balanced Th1/Th2 profile.
It also activates Toll-like receptor signalling in innate immune cells, which links it to both antiviral and anti-inflammatory effects. Romani and colleagues (Annals of the New York Academy of Sciences, 2007) described thymosin alpha-1 as an endogenous regulator of inflammation, immunity and tolerance. Clinical research has examined it in chronic hepatitis B and C, sepsis and vaccine-response settings. Researchers use thymosin alpha-1 to model T-cell development, antiviral immunity, vaccine adjuvancy and sepsis-related immune suppression.
It is also studied alongside repair peptides for its effects on wound healing and infection control. The 10 mg vial supports repeated dosing in immune-challenge models and in-vitro work with dendritic cells and T lymphocytes. Because the peptide is immunomodulatory rather than immunosuppressive, studies should measure both pro- and anti-inflammatory cytokines. Keep the sealed vial at -20C until use, shield it from light, and reconstitute under sterile conditions with bacteriostatic water or the buffer specified in the study protocol.
Working solutions should be kept cold, aliquoted, and used within the stability window established for that peptide. Questions include the receptor or binding partner that mediates its effects, the optimal timing relative to immune challenge, and whether it benefits immunosenescence or only acute immune suppression. Sold for laboratory research only. Not for human or veterinary use, and not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
