How to Pay with Crypto

Paying with cryptocurrency is fast and convenient. NOTNATTY accepts cryptocurrency payments through supported digital currencies and networks.

The exact steps depend on which cryptocurrency you choose and which wallet or exchange you use. This guide explains the general process for paying with Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), USDT, USDC, and other supported cryptocurrencies.

Important

Only send the cryptocurrency and network shown on your NOTNATTY checkout page. Sending the wrong cryptocurrency or using an unsupported network can result in the loss of funds.

Step 1: Choose your cryptocurrency

At checkout, select one of the available payment options. Depending on what is currently supported, this may include:

  • Bitcoin (BTC)
  • Ethereum (ETH)
  • Tether (USDT)
  • USD Coin (USDC)
  • Other cryptocurrencies displayed at checkout

Your checkout page will show the exact cryptocurrency, amount, wallet address, and network required for your payment.

Step 2: Choose a wallet or crypto exchange

You can pay using a compatible personal crypto wallet or, where supported, an exchange that allows withdrawals to external wallet addresses. Examples include:

  • Coinbase
  • Kraken
  • Gemini
  • Cash App
  • Trust Wallet
  • MetaMask
  • Exodus
  • Other compatible cryptocurrency wallets

Availability varies by country, cryptocurrency, network, account, and platform. Always confirm that your chosen wallet or exchange supports the specific cryptocurrency and network required by your checkout.

Option 1: Paying from a crypto wallet

If you already have cryptocurrency in a wallet, this is generally the simplest way to pay.

1. Open your wallet

Open your cryptocurrency wallet and select the cryptocurrency you want to use. For example: Bitcoin → BTC, Ethereum → ETH, Tether → USDT, USD Coin → USDC.

2. Select send

Tap or click Send, Transfer, or the equivalent option in your wallet.

3. Copy the payment address

Return to the NOTNATTY checkout page and copy the wallet address provided for your selected cryptocurrency. Always copy and paste the address. Never type it manually.

4. Verify the network

This is one of the most important steps. Some cryptocurrencies operate on multiple blockchain networks. For example, USDT can exist on networks such as:

  • Ethereum / ERC-20
  • Tron / TRC-20
  • Solana
  • Other supported networks

If checkout specifies USDT on TRC-20, you must send USDT using the TRC-20 network. Do not select another network simply because it has a lower fee.

5. Enter the payment amount

Enter the exact cryptocurrency amount shown on the NOTNATTY checkout page. Make sure you have enough cryptocurrency to cover any applicable network or withdrawal fee.

6. Review everything

Before confirming, carefully check: cryptocurrency, amount, wallet address, network, and any applicable transaction fee. Once a blockchain transaction is confirmed, it generally cannot be reversed.

7. Send the payment

Confirm the transaction from your wallet. Keep your transaction hash / TXID until your order has been processed.

Option 2: Buy crypto through an exchange

If you don’t already own cryptocurrency, you can purchase it through a supported cryptocurrency exchange. Popular exchanges include Coinbase, Kraken, and Gemini, although availability and payment methods vary by country.

1. Create and verify your account

Create an account with your chosen exchange and complete any required identity verification. Add an available payment method, such as a bank account or debit card, depending on what your exchange supports.

2. Purchase your cryptocurrency

Go to the exchange’s Buy, Trade, or equivalent section. Select the cryptocurrency required by your NOTNATTY checkout (for example BTC → Bitcoin, ETH → Ethereum, USDT → Tether, USDC → USD Coin). Purchase enough cryptocurrency to cover your order and any applicable purchase or withdrawal fees.

3. Check withdrawal availability

Some exchanges may temporarily restrict withdrawals after a purchase, depending on the payment method, account status, security checks, or other factors. Make sure the cryptocurrency is available for withdrawal before relying on an exchange for immediate payment.

4. Withdraw your crypto

Open your exchange’s Assets, Portfolio, or equivalent section. Select the cryptocurrency and choose Send, Withdraw, or the equivalent option. Paste the wallet address from the NOTNATTY checkout page.

5. Select the correct network

If the exchange asks you to select a network, select the exact network displayed at NOTNATTY checkout. Never assume that the cheapest network is the correct network. Sending funds over an unsupported network may result in the payment not being received or being difficult or impossible to recover.

6. Enter the amount

Enter the cryptocurrency amount displayed at checkout. Review the amount and any applicable exchange withdrawal fee.

7. Confirm the withdrawal

Carefully review the cryptocurrency, wallet address, network, amount, and fees, then confirm the withdrawal. Keep the resulting transaction hash / TXID for your records.

Option 3: Paying with a stablecoin

Stablecoins such as USDT and USDC are designed to track the value of the US dollar, although their market price can still fluctuate and they carry their own risks. They can be convenient when you want to avoid some of the price volatility associated with assets such as Bitcoin or Ethereum. However, stablecoin payments require particular attention to the network.

Example

If your checkout says: USDT — TRC-20

You must send: USDT on the TRON/TRC-20 network

Do not send:

  • USDT on Ethereum/ERC-20
  • USDT on Solana
  • Another token
  • Another network

…unless that exact option is explicitly supported at checkout.

Important: crypto payments are generally irreversible

Cryptocurrency transactions work differently from credit-card payments. Once you send a transaction to a blockchain address, it generally cannot simply be cancelled or reversed. Before pressing Send, verify everything carefully. Check it twice:

  1. Correct cryptocurrency
  2. Correct network
  3. Correct wallet address
  4. Correct payment amount

Frequently asked questions

Which cryptocurrencies can I use?

The cryptocurrencies available for payment are displayed on the NOTNATTY checkout page. Only send a cryptocurrency that is explicitly supported at checkout. If a cryptocurrency or network is not displayed, do not send it to an address intended for another asset.

How long does a crypto payment take?

There is no single confirmation time for all cryptocurrencies. Transaction speed depends on the blockchain, network conditions, transaction fees, and the number of confirmations required before a payment is considered complete. Some networks can process transactions within seconds or minutes, while others may take longer. Your order will be processed once the payment is detected and meets the required confirmation criteria.

Why is the crypto amount different from the USD price?

Cryptocurrency prices can change continuously. The checkout may calculate and display a specific cryptocurrency amount based on the exchange rate available when your order is created. If the checkout provides a payment window, complete the transaction within that window and use the amount displayed for your order.

Do I need to pay the network fee?

Depending on the wallet or exchange you use, you may be charged a transaction, withdrawal, or network fee. These fees are separate from the amount being sent to the payment address. Make sure your wallet contains enough funds to cover both the required payment and any applicable fee.

Can I pay with USDT or USDC?

If USDT or USDC is displayed as an available payment option at checkout, you can use it. Always verify the network. USDT and USDC can exist on multiple blockchain networks, and sending a token through an unsupported network can cause payment problems.

Can I use Coinbase, Kraken, or Gemini?

If your exchange account allows cryptocurrency withdrawals to external wallet addresses, you can generally use it to make a payment using a supported cryptocurrency. However, exchange features, withdrawal limits, fees, verification requirements, and supported networks vary by platform and location.

Can I use Cash App?

Cash App’s cryptocurrency features, supported assets, transfer functionality, fees, limits, and availability can change. If Cash App allows you to withdraw the required cryptocurrency to an external wallet address and supports the network specified at checkout, it may be used for payment. Always verify the current Cash App requirements before purchasing cryptocurrency for an order.

Can I use PayPal or Venmo?

PayPal and Venmo offer cryptocurrency features in certain markets, but their supported cryptocurrencies and external-transfer capabilities vary. Before purchasing cryptocurrency for an order, verify that your account allows you to transfer the required asset to an external wallet address.

What if I send the wrong cryptocurrency?

Contact NOTNATTY support as soon as possible and provide your order number, cryptocurrency sent, amount sent, transaction hash / TXID, and the wallet address used. Recovery may not be possible, particularly if the wrong cryptocurrency or an unsupported network was used.

What if I send the wrong amount?

If you send less than the amount required, your payment may not be automatically matched to your order. If you send more than required, contact support with your order number and transaction hash. Do not send another payment until the situation has been reviewed.

What if I used the wrong network?

Contact support immediately and provide the transaction hash / TXID, order number, cryptocurrency, and network used. Recovery depends on the cryptocurrency, blockchain, wallet infrastructure, and whether the receiving system can access the funds. Never assume that an incorrect-network transaction can automatically be recovered.

Final payment checklist

Before confirming any cryptocurrency payment, verify:

  • Cryptocurrency: Does it exactly match the option selected at checkout?
  • Network: Does it exactly match the network displayed at checkout?
  • Address: Did you copy the complete wallet address correctly?
  • Amount: Did you enter the exact amount shown at checkout?
  • Fees: Do you have enough additional funds to cover applicable fees?
  • Transaction: Have you saved your transaction hash / TXID?

Once everything has been verified, submit your payment and keep your transaction information until your order has been confirmed.
