Exemestane (Aromasin) 25mg

Exemestane, commonly known by the brand name Aromasin, is a steroidal aromatase inhibitor (AI) that reduces estrogen production by irreversibly inhibiting the aromatase enzyme. Aromatase is responsible for converting certain androgens, including testosterone and androstenedione, into estrogen.

Originally developed for the treatment of hormone-receptor-positive breast cancer, exemestane is also widely discussed in bodybuilding and performance-enhancement communities for its role in estrogen management.

In bodybuilding contexts, Exemestane bodybuilding use is primarily associated with managing estrogen during exposure to aromatizing anabolic-androgenic steroids, particularly testosterone and other compounds that can increase estradiol.

By inhibiting aromatase, Aromasin reduces the conversion of androgens into estrogen. This can help control estrogen-related effects such as water retention and gynecomastia when clinically appropriate.
