IPA/CJC-1295 5/5mg is a research-grade growth-hormone secretagogue blend studied for pulsatile growth-hormone release, IGF-1 output and sleep-related GH dynamics. This 3 ml vial containing 5 mg ipamorelin and 5 mg CJC-1295 presentation is intended for laboratory investigation of combined ghrelin-receptor and GHRH-receptor activation. This blend pairs ipamorelin, a selective ghrelin-receptor agonist, with CJC-1295, a GHRH analog modified with a maleimide linker that binds serum albumin and extends its half-life. Ipamorelin triggers GH release from somatotrophs with minimal effect on ACTH or prolactin, while CJC-1295 sustains GHRH-receptor signalling and amplifies the pulsatile response.
The combination is studied because ghrelin and GHRH receptors act synergistically on somatotroph calcium signalling and GH vesicle release. Teichman and colleagues (Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism, 2006) showed that CJC-1295 produced dose-dependent, prolonged increases in GH and IGF-1 in healthy adults. Ipamorelin was characterised by Raun and colleagues (European Journal of Endocrinology, 1998) as a selective GH secretagogue with reduced cortisol and prolactin effects compared with earlier ghrelin mimetics. Researchers use the blend to model pulsatile GH secretion, IGF-1 generation, body-composition change and sleep-associated GH peaks.
It is also used to compare dual-receptor activation with single secretagogues. A 5/5mg vial maintains a 1:1 mass ratio; reconstituting with 3 ml gives 1.67 mg/ml of each peptide. Because the two components have different half-lives, time-course studies should sample GH at multiple intervals rather than relying on a single peak value. For long-term storage, keep the lyophilised vial desiccated at -20C and allow it to equilibrate to room temperature before opening to prevent condensation. Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water, mix gently, and avoid vortexing or repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Questions include whether the blend preserves pulsatility or produces sustained elevation, how the ratio affects somatotroph desensitisation, and whether the combination changes IGF-1 beyond what either peptide achieves alone. This product is intended strictly for in-vitro and in-vivo laboratory research by qualified professionals. It is not approved for human consumption, clinical treatment or therapeutic use.
