Description

Tirzepatide 30mg is a research-grade GIP/GLP-1 receptor agonist studied for weight loss, glycaemic control, hepatic steatosis and cardiometabolic risk. This 3 ml vial containing 30 mg presentation is intended for laboratory investigation of higher-exposure dual incretin protocols. Tirzepatide is a dual GIP/GLP-1 receptor agonist with a long albumin-bound half-life. Its metabolic effects include glucose-dependent insulin secretion, glucagon suppression, delayed gastric emptying and reduced caloric intake.

Higher exposures are studied for their effects on visceral fat, liver fat and cardiovascular risk factors. Jastreboff and colleagues (New England Journal of Medicine, 2022) reported dose-dependent weight loss in SURMOUNT-1, with the highest dose producing approximately 21% reduction at 72 weeks. SURPASS trials established glycaemic superiority over semaglutide and insulin. The 30 mg presentation supports chronic dosing, multi-organ endpoint panels and comparisons with retatrutide and bariatric surgery.

Researchers measure body composition, liver fat, inflammatory markers and vascular function. Because higher exposures increase nausea and vomiting, use gradual titration and pair-fed controls. Confirm concentration before dosing and monitor glucose, since tirzepatide can produce hypoglycaemia when combined with insulin or sulfonylureas. Handle the powder at -20C, protected from moisture and light. Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water or a suitable buffer, filter if the protocol requires sterility, and store working aliquots at 2-8C for short-term use.

Document the diluent, concentration and preparation date. Open questions include the long-term cardiovascular benefit, the mechanism of lean-mass preservation, and whether intermittent dosing maintains efficacy with fewer adverse effects. Supplied exclusively for controlled laboratory research. It is not intended for human consumption, clinical use or therapeutic application.
